Dominique brings a wide range of experience from within the talent space. Prior to co-founding The Firm, he ran technical recruiting at a self-driving robotics startup, and before that, he spent time at Sequoia Capital helping founders build teams and advising them on recruiting best practices.
Not only has he hired talent at every stage of a company's growth, from the seed stage all the way through to IPO, but Dominique has also constructed high-performing recruiting teams as a people manager and player coach.
He firmly believes that having a proper recruiting foundation plays an instrumental part in making high quality hires. Without the correct recruiting systems and processes in place, the chances of landing a quality hire are slim. With that in mind, Dominique co-founded The Firm, hoping to provide a more holistic approach to hiring where the focus is on developing recruiting systems, finding the right hires, and everything in between.
His passion also extends to DE&I programming and creating inclusive cultures where people can show up as their authentic selves. Through his work at The Firm he plans to continue to be a resource to founders and a catalyst to increasing representation of underrepresented people within the tech space.
Mike has over 15 years of business development and recruiting experience focused on start-ups and growth companies. Prior to co-founding The Firm, he was the technical recruiting lead focused on autonomy and software at a self-driving robotics start-up and was director of recruiting at a robotics start-up that was acquired by Waymo.
Mike works on some of the most challenging roles in robotics, autonomy and artificial intelligence. Hiring the best talent in these industries requires a high bar for candidate experience and a true understanding of what these engineers want. Mike’s experience allows him to do just that.
He co-founded The Firm because after years of working internally, he thought there was value to other companies going through the same things he has experienced to help them solve their problems related to recruiting.
